Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam and has been one of Vietnam’s major attractions. It is well known for its emerald waters and about 1600 amazing limestone islands and islets topped by rain forests. In 1994, UNESCO designated Ha Long Bay as a World Heritage Site.

There are plenty of things for you to do here such as going on junk boat tours, kayaking, scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking, cave exploring, sunbathing at the beach, exploring the city, visiting floating villages, taking a sea plane to explore the area from above, and many more interesting activities for people of all ages.

If you do not want to stay in a traditional hotel, then you should take an opportunity to book an overnight cruise. On many overnight cruises, you will get to enjoy delicious authentic Vietnamese food and participate in the night squid fishing. Squid fishing is a super fun and you will get to enjoy the squids after they boiled them on the boat or even take them back as gifts for friends and families.
